SimBuy needed to expand their existing design to alpine boots.
Extended the existing selector to support alpine ski boots without a redesign.
I began by exploring the client's existing UI for the original ski-boot tool to understand the structure, interaction patterns and component library. This gave me a clear foundation for how the new alpine-boot flow needed to look and behave.
Based on the existing framework, I designed new screens tailored to alpine ski boots. I reused components where possible and created new ones when needed, ensuring everything remained consistent with the established visual language.
Once the UI layout was in place, I produced both Swedish and German versions of all screens. This required adapting labels, text length, and layout details to maintain clarity and balance in both languages.
I assembled all screens into a clickable prototype to visualise the full flow. This allowed the client to test the experience end-to-end and review how the new alpine-boot flow fit seamlessly into the existing tool.
Step-by-step questions that adapt based on user answers to provide most relevant recommendations
Users access the selector through the website, which then launches a mobile-optimized interface for an app-like experience
Tailored product suggestions based on user needs, experience and preferences

The final outcome was a clear, coherent and production-ready flow that extended the client's existing tool with a seamless alpine ski boot experience. The new design fit naturally into the established visual system and provided a complete end-to-end journey that could be reviewed, tested and implemented without additional refinement.
